Starting in 2002, Phoseon Technology pioneered the use of LEDs for UV curing applications using the polymerization process to dry adhesives, coatings, inks and other UV sensitive materials. Today, Phoseon products are successfully curing UV applications worldwide. Phoseon leadership team has more than 80 years combined experience in high-technology Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Marketing of semiconductors and systems.
Bill Cortelyou, President & CEO
Mr. Cortelyou joined Phoseon in 2007 as President & CEO, bringing 20 years of experience in semiconductor technology and capabilities. Prior to joining Phoseon, Mr. Cortelyou was an early investor in Phoseon as well as advising early stage technology companies. Previously, Mr. Cortelyou was Vice President of Operations at Integrated Device Technology covering semiconductor operations and manufacturing. Prior to IDT, Mr. Cortelyou was a process engineer for Advanced Micro Devices. Mr. Cortelyou holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics from San Francisco State University.
Mike Love, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Love, a seasoned financial executive, has served in a breadth of industries, both domestically and internationally, including as CFO at three companies. He has driven profitable growth in turnaround and high-growth environments, in both Private Equity and Fortune 500 publicly traded companies, including a successful exit and accretive acquisitions. His experience includes serving as a German Managing Director and establishing operating units in the UK, Poland, Norway, Dubai and Singapore. His career has spanned high tech, including 16 years at Tektronix, semiconductors, life sciences, industrial tools and civil construction industries. Mr. Love earned a BA in Finance from Oregon State University and an MBA from the University of Oregon (OEMBA).
Michael Beck, Vice President of Worldwide Sales
Mr. Beck joined Phoseon in May of 2008, bringing over 20 years of experience in Sales Management and Applications Engineering. Prior to joining Phoseon, Mr. Beck was a Regional Sales Manager for Siemens EAS, the North American Sales Manager for MV Technology, and a Regional Sales Manager for View Engineering. From 2008-17, he has served Phoseon as the Director of Sales for the Americas Region. Mr. Beck holds a BS degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Wayne State University.
Steve Norgaard, Vice President of Operations
Mr. Norgaard joined Phoseon in 2021, bringing nearly 30 years of experience in High Technology Operations within high growth and established organizations. Prior to joining Phoseon, Mr. Norgaard was a Vice President at Cymer based in San Diego, California where he managed Global Field Service Operations and more recently Global Supply Chain and Quality. Previously, Mr. Norgaard was a Vice President, Manufacturing Operations at nLIGHT, and also held operations positions at Applied Materials and New Focus. Mr. Norgaard received a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from Stanford University and a M. B. A. from University of California, Berkeley.
Ken McAllister, Director of Engineering
Mr. McAllister joined Phoseon in 2012, after 36 years in the semiconductor industry. Prior to joining Phoseon, Mr. McAllister was Director of Process Integration at Integrated Device Technology. Mr. McAllister has participated in 3 wafer fab startups from groundbreaking to full production. He was at IDT for 26 years and has also worked at Qimonda, Synertek and Intersil. Mr McAllister holds a MSEE from National Technological University and a BSEL from California Polytechnic University with emphasis in microelectronics.
Mark Oesterle, Life Sciences Group Director
Mr. Oesterle joined the Phoseon Team May of 2017 with more than 20 years of experience in the sales and management in growing technology industries. Prior to joining Phoseon, Mr. Oesterle was the International Sales Manager at Heraeus Noblelight in Buford, GA where he managed the sales operations and team for analytical and laser lamps in the Americas as well as a Global Product Manager for the Fiberlight family of products. Previously, Mr. Oesterle held senior sales positions at Regal Beloit and Grainger, and process engineering positions with other firms. Mr. Oesterle received a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology.
Joe Becker, Director of Marketing
Mr. Becker joined Phoseon in 2013 as Product Manager responsible for the UV-LED curing product lines, bridging the gap between engineering and marketing. Prior to joining Phoseon, Mr. Becker was Product Marketing Manager at Planar Systems. He has also worked at Intel as Product Marketing Engineer and Program Manager. Mr. Becker holds a Bachelor of Science for Software Engineering Technology from Oregon Institute of Technology.
